Walking Men 99 is Maya Barkai's site-specific public art installation that surrounds New York City's downtown Four Seasons Hotel, which is currently under construction. Walking Men 99 is a photographic collage of 99 pedestrian traffic light icons collected from around the world.
Although it has been more than eight years since the World Trade Center attack, every day it seems there are more cranes and concrete trucks, scaffolding and chain-link fences as Lower Manhattan struggles to rebuild.
