Barry Frydlender (b. 1954) lives and works in Tel Aviv. His work is in the collections of institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Jewish Museum, New York; The National Collection of Contemporary Art (FNAC), Paris; The Israel Museum, Jerusalem; and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Tel Aviv. In 2007, Frydlender was the first Israeli artist to have a solo show at The Museum of Modern Art, New York. He was prominently featured in the Arles Photography Festival, Rencontres de la Photographie and was a finalist for the BMW Prize at the 2005 Paris Photo Exposition. Barry Frydlender is represented by Andrea Meislin Gallery, New York.
